The Sports South–exclusive configuration pairs a stainless (silver) slide with a black polymer frame, giving this micro 9mm a distinctive two‑tone look. The slide is billet‑machined with front and rear serrations and an OSP direct‑mount optic cut that uses the Springfield Micro footprint, retained by a cover plate when not in use. Co‑witness capability with the U‑Dot irons is maintained.
Sight picture is fast and clear thanks to the U‑Dot system: a tritium/luminescent yellow front sight marked "H3" and a tactical‑rack U‑notch rear. The arrangement supports co‑witnessing through compatible micro‑footprint optics if installed.
The 3 in barrel is hammer‑forged and Melonite‑treated for durability. The striker‑fired action uses a trigger safety with no external manual safety levers. A single‑slot accessory rail on the dustcover allows mounting of a compact light or similar accessory.
This example includes six stainless Hellcat‑pattern magazines with polymer baseplates in 11‑, 13‑, and 15‑round configurations, supporting a maximum capacity of 15+1. The frame features a molded stippled texture for secure handling. Markings include "MADE IN CROATIA, GENESEO IL," reflecting manufacture by HS Produkt for Springfield Armory.
