This Tisas Model 1911A1 Service is a full-size, Series 70–type .45 ACP with forged carbon-steel slide and frame, a hammer-forged 5 in barrel, and classic GI-style features. It is a faithful reproduction built with durable materials and a matte dark gray/black finish, imported by SDS Imports and marked accordingly. The pistol is in excellent condition and comes with two 8-round magazines and useful extras.

The 1911A1 Service model features forged carbon-steel construction for both the slide and frame, paired with a hammer-forged 5 in barrel. Its matte dark gray/black finish complements the GI pattern, while the GI bushing, short guide rod, and checkered recoil spring plug retain the classic operating setup.
Controls follow the traditional 1911A1 configuration: a short, solid GI-length trigger; checkered magazine release; left-side thumb safety; and a grip safety. An arched, serrated mainspring housing and 1911A1-style frame relief cuts support the period-correct handling. The pistol uses a spur hammer and double-diamond checkered wood grip panels.
The slide carries rear vertical serrations and a non-lowered ejection port, with a rollmark of "MODEL 1911A1 SERVICE." Sighting is true to GI form with a plain, narrow front blade and a small square-notch rear, offering a sight radius of 6.44 in.
This Series 70–type pistol uses internals without a firing-pin block, aligning with the classic design. Chambered in .45 ACP, it offers an 8+1 capacity (magazine-dependent). It is a Turkish-made reproduction imported by SDS Imports, Knoxville, TN, with import mark "SDS KNOXVILLE TN."
