This full-size Springfield Armory 1911 DS Prodigy AOS is a double-stack 9mm built on a forged carbon-steel frame with a 5 inch bushingless, match-grade bull barrel and black Cerakote finish. It has been thoughtfully customized with a Taran Tactical Innovations Phantom aluminum grip module with a bolt-on magwell, an Atlas Gunworks flat trigger, and a pinned grip safety. The slide features Springfield’s Agency Optic System (AOS) interface, and this pistol includes a Dawson Precision RMR adapter plate kit.

The AOS slide interface is present, and this pistol ships with a Dawson Precision RMR adapter plate kit, providing a factory-matched solution for mounting a compatible optic. The slide wears front and rear serrations for positive manipulation and carries the correct model markings: “PRODIGY” on the left and “SPRINGFIELD ARMORY” on the right.
Barrel and lockup are built for performance: a 5 inch, forged stainless, bushingless match-grade bull barrel with a 1:16 twist and a locked-breech, single-action-only system. The barrel hood is marked “S.A. 9MM.” A skeletonized rowel hammer and a manual thumb safety round out the fire-control features.
Sighting equipment includes iron sights with a fiber-optic front and a black serrated rear for a clear, high-contrast sight picture. The full-length accessory rail under the dustcover adds mounting space for lights or other rail-mounted accessories as desired.
Notable custom work sets this example apart: a Taran Tactical Innovations Phantom aluminum grip module with a bolt-on flared magwell is installed, an Atlas Gunworks flat-faced, lightened trigger is fitted, and the grip safety has been pinned. The pistol uses double-stack DS magazines, and this one includes a 26-round magazine.
The forged carbon-steel frame and slide wear a uniform black Cerakote finish. Correct factory markings are present, including the DS marking on the dustcover and “SI GENESEO IL USA” on the frame. Country of origin is USA.
