The METE MC9 pairs a striker-fired, locked-breech action with a flat-faced, single-action trigger featuring a red shoe insert and a trigger safety. Ambidextrous slide stop levers and a reversible magazine release support adaptable controls. Dovetailed iron sights include a front post and an all-black rear notch.
Its 3.1 in cold-hammer-forged, nitrided barrel and micro-size frame keep the pistol compact, with an overall length of about 6.1 in, a frame width of about 1.12 in, and an unloaded weight around 21.3 oz. Both the slide and polymer frame wear a Flat Dark Earth finish.
The slide is optics-ready with an RMSc-footprint interface and includes a cover plate secured by two screws when no optic is installed. An integral three-slot Picatinny/MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail provides space for a compact light or similar accessory.
This pistol accommodates a maximum capacity of 17+1 using the included steel double-stack magazines. The mix of flush and extended baseplates allows the shooter to balance concealment and grip length as needed.
Made in Turkey and imported by Century Arms (Georgia, VT), the pistol bears the appropriate import markings. The METE MC9 was introduced at SHOT Show 2023 and earned 2023 Industry Choice Awards recognition as Concealed Carry Pistol of the Year.
