MADE IN U.S.A." and "BERETTA USA CORP., ACKK., MD." on the slide, it pairs an aluminum alloy frame with a blued slide, fixed sights, and an 8+1 capacity in a compact, easy-to-carry format.
The simple blowback, single-action-only design uses an external spurred hammer for deliberate control. A manual thumb safety and inertia firing pin provide added security while maintaining quick, consistent operation.
The carbon steel, tip-up barrel enables direct chamber access and complements the extractorless system for straightforward administrative handling. Rear slide serrations aid manipulation, while the fixed blade front and fixed notch rear sights provide a clean, unobtrusive sight picture.
