Built in 1980, this 10/22 Carbine carries a 120-prefix receiver and the classic 18.5-inch sporter-contour steel barrel with a barrel band. The aluminum alloy receiver has a light gray/silver natural (clear) anodized finish, while the overall metalwork is blued. It runs a semi-automatic blowback action with a right-side charging handle and a cross-bolt safety.
The Butler Creek folding stock is a standout feature. It uses a steel wire buttstock with a black synthetic, ventilated fore-end and a pistol grip, plus a rubber buttplate and a front sling swivel stud. The folding design gives compact storage and transport options while maintaining a 13.25-inch length of pull when extended.
Sighting is set up for optics use. A Tasco fixed-power rimfire scope is mounted on a receiver tip-off base with tip-off rings. The front sight is a ramped blade, and the rear sight is not present with the scope installed.
This rifle accepts standard Ruger 10/22 rotary magazines and compatible extended magazines. It ships with one 25-round magazine and three 10-round magazines, and it includes the hardwood carbine stock for those who prefer the traditional configuration. The bore condition is excellent, supporting reliable rimfire performance.
