The PWS MK116 Mod 1 is a .223 Wylde AR-15 platform rifle built around a long-stroke gas piston with an adjustable regulator. This example features a 16-inch threaded barrel with the PWS FSC556 brake/compensator installed, a free-float aluminum KeyMod handguard with top Picatinny sections and a small gap at the rear (not a continuous top rail), and a BCM Gunfighter charging handle. It includes polymer flip-up sights, Magpul MOE pistol grip, and a 6-position collapsible stock with a listed length of pull of 10.5–14 inches. Made in the United States and configured for AR-15 pattern magazines, it offers a 30+1 capacity.

The long-stroke gas piston system is a defining feature of the MK116 Mod 1, and this rifle includes an adjustable gas regulator with a numeric setting mark of "2" visible, allowing the user to tune operation to ammunition and conditions.
Its 16-inch threaded barrel is chambered in .223 Wylde and is paired with the PWS FSC556 multi-port brake/compensator. This setup supports muzzle device changes while providing effective gas and recoil management with the included FSC556.
The rifle wears a free-float aluminum KeyMod handguard with top Picatinny sections; there is a small gap at the rear (not a continuous top rail). Included bolt-on rail sections expand mounting options, and the installed angled handstop adds front-end control without adding bulk.
