The Gen6 slide is optic-ready from the factory and ships with the cover plate in place, allowing the pistol to be used immediately with the included fixed sights or set up later with a compatible optic. Forward and rear serrations provide positive manipulation, and the black finish presents a uniform appearance across slide and frame.
Ergonomics and controls reflect Gen6 updates: ambidextrous slide stop levers, a reversible magazine release, and an undercut trigger guard. The aggressive micro-dot grip texturing (with no finger grooves) promotes a secure hold, while the Glock universal accessory rail supports common weapon-mounted accessories.
The striker-fired, short-recoil, locked-breech action uses Glock’s Safe Action system.
