The RDP (Rapid Defense Package) configuration features a 3.8 inch threaded barrel and a factory self-indexing aluminum compensator designed for this model. The micro-compact format maintains a small footprint while offering a factory-rated 15+1 capacity with the included 15-round magazine.
The slide is optics-ready and cut for the Springfield Micro/Shield RMSc footprint, with front and rear cocking serrations for positive manipulation. The Hellcat U-Dot sights pair a tritium front (marked MH3) with a high-visibility yellow/green ring and a U-notch rear.
The striker-fired action uses the non-manual-safety configuration with a trigger safety, and RDP models adopted the Gen 2 Hellcat trigger geometry. The polymer frame carries an aggressive stippled texture and a single accessory rail slot for compatible lights or add-ons.
Proofed and marked "HS PRODUKT MADE IN CROATIA," this pistol was manufactured by HS Produkt for Springfield Armory. Matching serials are observed on the slide, barrel, frame, and box, and the RDP series was introduced in 2021.
