It includes three 17-round factory magazines, interchangeable palm-swell backstraps, the factory case and manual, and a factory QC envelope dated 11/10/2014. The bore is excellent with sharp rifling.

The original M&P9 full-size layout features a 4.25" barrel, a black stainless slide with rear serrations, and fixed 3-dot white sights. This example includes the ambidextrous manual thumb safety, along with a hinged trigger incorporating a trigger safety.
Controls are well-appointed with ambidextrous slide stop levers and a left-side magazine release. The pistol is marked "capable of firing with magazine removed," indicating no magazine disconnect is present.
Construction highlights include a polymer frame in black, a nitrided stainless steel barrel, and a stainless slide with a durable black protective treatment. The slide uses an external extractor, and the barrel has 5-groove, right-hand rifling.
An integral 3-slot Picatinny-style accessory rail supports common lights or lasers. The interchangeable palm-swell backstraps help tailor the grip, and the package is rounded out by three 17-round magazines, the factory case, manual, and S&W QC envelope dated 11/10/2014.
