This Smith & Wesson M&P15-22 SPORT is a dedicated .22 LR AR-15-style rifle configured with useful upgrades. It features a 16-inch threaded carbon steel barrel with an A2-style birdcage, polymer upper and lower receivers with steel inserts, and a slim M-LOK handguard with a full-length top Picatinny rail. It comes ready with a TRUGLO reflex red dot sight, TRUGLO weapon light, flip-up sights, a short vertical foregrip, and a push-button QD sling swivel. Made in the U.S.A., it retains the familiar controls and ergonomics of the AR platform in a straight blowback .22 LR design.

The M&P15-22 SPORT uses a dedicated straight blowback .22 LR system that mirrors AR-15 controls, including a manual safety with SAFE/FIRE markings (red FIRE). The polymer upper and lower receivers incorporate steel inserts, and the rifle is marked with the Smith & Wesson Springfield, MA rollmark and M&P 15-22 logo.
Its 16-inch carbon steel barrel is threaded at the muzzle and fitted with an A2-style birdcage flash suppressor. This configuration supports common muzzle devices compatible with the included threads.
The slim M-LOK handguard and full-length top Picatinny rail offer flexible mounting for accessories. A 6-position collapsible carbine stock with a textured buttplate and an A2-pattern polymer pistol grip deliver familiar AR ergonomics. Length of pull adjusts from 10 to 13.5 inches.
This rifle is outfitted with practical accessories, including a TRUGLO reflex red dot, TRUGLO rail-mounted light, a short vertical foregrip, and flip-up front and rear sights. A push-button QD sling swivel is installed on the handguard for quick sling attachment.
