This full-size Government Model retains the classic 5-inch slide and barrel and uses a GI-pattern recoil system with a barrel bushing. The spring plug is marked with the Rampant Colt logo, and the slide carries rear cocking serrations with no front serrations. It is a Series 80, single-action design with a firing-pin block.
The sighting system is set up for precision with a BMCS Bo-Mar-pattern adjustable rear sight and a tall, serrated front blade. This combination provides a clean, target-focused sight picture while maintaining a traditional 1911 profile.
Controls and ergonomics are upgraded with an ambidextrous thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety for confident manipulation. A rowel/Commander-style hammer and a lightweight, skeletonized three-hole trigger complete the refined fire-control setup.
Grip and frame enhancements include front strap checkering and a flat, diamond checkered mainspring housing to improve purchase. The custom inlaid grip panels with a skull motif and matching custom grip screws add distinctive visual detail to the polished stainless steel frame and slide.
