The Wingmaster TC Trap Grade configuration combines a 28 in vent-rib, matted barrel and a fixed Modified choke with a single front bead, a proven setup for trap. The receiver is rollmarked "Wingmaster MODEL 870TC," and the non-magnum 12 ga, 2 3/4 in chambering is indicated by the "V" serial suffix.
Stock and forend are walnut with cut checkering. The Monte Carlo comb, pistol grip, and beavertail forend provide a steady mount and secure handling. An aftermarket adjustable buttplate assembly is installed (aluminum base with adjustable metal plate; no rubber recoil pad installed), rounding out the fit; length of pull is 14.5 in.
The action is Remington’s bottom-loading, side-ejecting pump design with a 4+1 capacity. Both receiver and barrel are steel with a blued finish.
Markings include barrel rollmarks "Remington Arms Co., Inc., Ilion, N.Y., Made in U.S.A." and a "MOD." choke stamp. Proof and inspection stamps include the oval "REP" on the barrel and multiple "P" and geometric symbols.
This example also includes a second barrel: a 30 in plain (non-ribbed) 12 ga tube with a fixed Full choke, offering a different constriction option. The forend tip is personalized with an inlaid nameplate reading "BUD ARNOLD."
