This Smith & Wesson M&P9 Shield Plus Performance Center pairs the tuned, flat-faced trigger and fiber-optic sight set with a non-ported 3.1-inch Armornite-treated stainless barrel and Armornite-treated slide. It comes in a micro-compact double-stack format with 10- and 13-round factory magazines and arrives with a Crimson Trace 5 MOA micro red dot installed. Made in the USA, it is a concise, feature-forward Performance Center variant.

The Performance Center treatment includes a flat-faced, tuned trigger for a consistent striker-fired pull and reset. The slide features front and rear cocking serrations and Performance Center markings, with the model designation M&P 9 SHIELD PLUS.
The barrel is stainless steel with a black Armornite finish, and the slide is stainless steel with a black Armornite finish. This example is the non-ported configuration. The frame is black polymer with textured grips for secure handling in a compact footprint.
Sighting equipment includes a green fiber-optic front and red fiber-optic rear. A Crimson Trace micro red dot with a 5 MOA aiming point is installed to provide an illuminated aiming reference.
The micro-compact double-stack design supports everyday carry while offering capacity flexibility. This pistol ships with one 10-round flush-fit magazine and one 13-round extended magazine, for a maximum capacity of 13+1 with the extended magazine.
Controls are streamlined. The left side of the slide is marked SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD, MA U.S.A. and notes that the pistol is capable of firing with the magazine removed.
