This Government Model is a USA-made, full-size Series 80 1911 in .38 Super with a 5-inch barrel and 9+1 capacity. Both the slide and barrel are correctly marked for .38 Super, underscoring the chambering that sets it apart from more common calibers in this platform.
The pistol wears a two-tone finish: a matte silver slide over a matte blue steel frame. Slide features include rear serrations only and a lowered, flared ejection port for reliable case clearance while maintaining a clean profile.
Controls and safeguards are thoughtfully executed. It has an extended left-side thumb safety, an upswept beavertail grip safety with a memory pad, and the Series 80 firing pin safety. The hammer is the Commander-style rowel type, and the trigger is a solid, non-skeletonized unit.
Sights are fixed, with a white-dot front blade paired to a square-notch rear. The front strap is smooth, and the mainspring housing is vertically serrated. Double-diamond checkered wood stocks with gold Colt medallions are installed, providing a classic 1911 feel and secure purchase.
