The MRAD chassis is built from aluminum with a matte black finish and a right-hand bolt featuring a large round knob. The top receiver Picatinny rail has T-marks for consistent, repeatable positioning of optics, and there is a separate short 12 o'clock Picatinny segment on the handguard (not continuous).
The free-float aluminum forend provides accessory slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions, plus a short Picatinny rail at 6 o'clock. This setup offers solid interfaces while keeping the barrel isolated from external forces.
The folding stock uses a robust hinge block and a skeletonized rear assembly with tool-less cheek height and length-of-pull adjustments. A bottom accessory rail at the stock toe supports positional shooting aids, and the rifle's length of pull is set at 14.0 in. A Magpul pistol grip and ambidextrous safety lever with pictograms round out the control set.
The 17 in steel barrel is threaded at the muzzle and fitted with a two-port brake. The chassis is etched with the barrel retention torque value "140 IN/LBS T30 PLUS" adjacent to the barrel interface, a useful reference during barrel service. Chambering is .308 Win with a 10+1 capacity using the included Barrett MRAD magazines.
Receiver markings read "MRAD - MULTI-ROLE ADAPTIVE DESIGN" with a prominent "BARRETT" wordmark and "MULTI-CALIBER." The rifle is made in the USA and configured as described, with clean execution of its modular precision design.
