Specific Condition Notes: This firearm is in great shape with minor scratches and blemishes present. During testing, the slide very occasionally had a minor stuck feeling and required a slight extra push to unlock the slide.

The SSP is Para-Ordnance’s single-stack 1911 platform configured here in the less common .38 Super chambering. It uses a 5" bushing barrel and GI-style recoil spring plug, and ships with two 9-round magazines to deliver a 9+1 capacity in a classic full-size format.
The pistol is constructed with a stainless steel slide and frame finished with brushed surfaces and polished slide flats. Grip handling features include a checkered frontstrap and a flat, checkered mainspring housing, paired with double-diamond checkered hardwood grips with Para medallions.
Slide and reliability details include a standard internal 1911-style extractor and a lowered, flared ejection port. The slide carries front and rear cocking serrations for confident manipulation. Controls include a beavertail grip safety and a thumb safety, with a skeletonized commander-style hammer and a skeletonized three-hole trigger.
Sight regulation is handled by fixed, dovetailed 3-dot sights: a dovetailed front blade with a single dot and a low-profile 2-dot rear. Factory markings include SSP on the slide and PARA-ORDNANCE INC., FT. LAUDERDALE FL. on the frame, along with a clear "MADE IN CANADA" origin stamp.
