The Custom II is a full-size 1911 built on a steel frame and slide with a uniform matte black finish. It uses a Government-length 5-inch, match-grade barrel and a 6-groove, left-hand twist rifling profile for consistent performance. The slide is cut with both front and rear cocking serrations and features a lowered and flared ejection port.
Controls and internals are set up for a crisp, predictable feel. A skeletonized, three-hole, match-grade aluminum trigger pairs with a skeletonized Commander-style hammer. The pistol is configured for 8+1 capacity and ships with two 8-round steel magazines fitted with polymer bumper pads.
Safety and handling features include the Series II firing-pin block, an ambidextrous manual thumb safety, and a beavertail grip safety with a memory bump. The checkered mainspring housing aids purchase, while fixed sights consist of a front blade and a low-profile rear notch for a clear, unobtrusive sight picture.
This example is customized with rubber wraparound finger-groove grips for a secure hold and an add-on magazine well funnel that aids reloads.
