The 486 Parallelo carries Beretta's round-body action with a coin-finish receiver and fine rose/scroll factory engraving, including the forend release escutcheon. The splinter forend uses an Anson push-button release, pairing traditional field ergonomics with clean lines and positive handling.
Barrels are 28 in Excelsior H.S.A. steel with a blued finish, triblock construction, and a solid concave top rib topped by a single front bead. The break-action layout includes timed ejectors and a tight barrel fit, with ample life remaining in the locking lug.
The shotgun is configured with a single trigger and a tang-mounted sliding safety. The walnut stock features a smooth, uncheckered pistol grip and right-hand cast off for a natural mount. Together with the slim splinter forend, the gun presents a classic side-by-side profile.
Choke setup uses Beretta's OptimaChoke HP flush system. This example is currently installed with IM and M, and it includes a full complement of additional tubes for flexible patterning. Capacity is 2 rounds.
