The Shield EZ M2.0 format emphasizes user-friendly operation. The easy-to-rack slide, pronounced front and rear serrations, and magazines with side load-assist tabs simplify manipulation at the range and during administrative handling.
Its internal hammer-fired, single-action design provides a consistent trigger, complemented by ambidextrous manual thumb safeties, a grip safety, and a tactile/visual loaded chamber indicator. The magazine release is reversible to accommodate left- or right-handed shooters.
Durability and corrosion resistance come from a stainless steel slide and barrel treated with S&W’s Armornite finish.
