The P2000SK V3 delivers a traditional DA/SA system with a rear-mounted decocking button and an external spurred hammer. It features ambidextrous slide stops and a paddle-style ambidextrous magazine release, plus interchangeable backstraps to tailor the grip. The frame is fiber-reinforced polymer, and a dual recoil/buffer spring assembly supports the short-recoil-operated action.
The 3.26-inch barrel is cold-hammer-forged with polygonal rifling, designed for longevity and consistent performance. Major metal parts wear HK's HE nitrocarburized finish.
Sights are fixed, drift-adjustable 3-dot (white) for a clear, straightforward sight picture. An integral accessory rail with a single cross-slot is molded into the dust cover.
This German-made pistol shows correct proof and import markings: eagle over N (nitro proof), Ulm stag antler proof, DE country code, HK date code BB (2011), and HKI, Columbus GA import mark. Capacity is 10+1 in 9mm Luger, and three 10-round steel magazines are included.
