The Legion R2 configuration adds a Legion gray-finished metal frame, black G10 grips with Legion medallions, an extended beavertail, an undercut trigger guard, frontstrap checkering, and low-profile controls. An accessory rail on the dustcover supports the included weapon light.
The R2 slide features an integral optics cut, front and rear serrations, and the Legion chevron on top. X-RAY3 day/night sights are installed. Barrel hood is marked "9mm x 19," and the right side of the slide reads "SIG SAUER INC., NEWINGTON–NH–USA."
The DA/SA action uses SIG's short reset trigger with enhanced/adjustable components, and a decocker is provided. Controls are streamlined for the Legion series while maintaining familiar P226 ergonomics.
This example is customized with a SIG Sauer ROMEO-X 1x red-dot (red dot reticle) mounted to the R2 optics cut and an Olight PL-3R Valkyrie light attached to the rail. It includes three 15-round Mec-Gar magazines, the SIG factory case with E26R-9-LEGION-R2 label, and the Legion challenge coin. The frame serial number matches the case label.
