The compact G23 Gen5 pairs a 4.02 in steel Glock Marksman Barrel with a 13+1 capacity, delivering the Gen5 configuration in .40 S&W. The nDLC-treated slide features front and rear cocking serrations, with a matching nDLC finish for added surface hardness and corrosion resistance.
Gen5 updates on this pistol include the ambidextrous slide stop lever, reversible magazine catch, flared magwell, and the Modular Backstrap System with two additional backstraps included. The frame uses the Gen5 texture for secure handling, and a Glock accessory rail is molded into the dustcover.
Sighting is via fixed polymer Glock sights: a white-dot front and white U-notch rear. This example is the standard non-MOS configuration with no optic cut on the slide.
Markings include Austrian proof marks on the barrel, an "AT" barrel marking, "MADE IN AUSTRIA" on the frame, and a GLOCK, INC., SMYRNA, GA import mark. Matching serials were observed on the frame and slide. Manufacturer part number is PA235S203.
