The AP5-P follows the MP5K-pattern layout, built on a stamped-steel receiver with a welded trunnion and cocking tube and operated by a roller-delayed blowback system. It retains the classic left-side charging handle and a K-pattern polymer handguard with an integral vertical foregrip for secure control.
This example is configured and transferred as a short-barreled rifle with a Choate Tool triangular side-folding polymer stock installed. The compact format and folding stock make it easy to stow while maintaining a solid shoulder interface when deployed.
An RMR-footprint, two-hole micro red-dot mounting plate is installed, providing a direct mounting interface for compatible optics. The factory diopter sights remain in place, with a hooded front post and a rear diopter drum.
The 5.8 in barrel is threaded and capped with a knurled thread protector. Chambered in 9mm Luger with a 30+1 capacity, it ships with a 30-round magazine marked "Made in Germany."
Markings include "Century Arms AP5-P" on the receiver top and "Cal. 9x19 mm" on the magwell. The right-side receiver is marked "Made in Turkey" alongside the importer stamp "Century Arms, Inc, Georgia, VT."
