The GD15 is configured around a 10.5-inch, threaded 5.56 NATO barrel operating on a direct-impingement system, with an open-prong flash hider installed. The pistol format maintains compact dimensions while using standard AR-15 pattern controls and magazines.
Its Midwest Industries free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard provides accessory mounting along the sides and bottom, with a continuous, T-marked Picatinny rail across the top. A low-profile gas block sits under the handguard, and the upper includes a forward assist, case deflector, and ejection-port dust cover.
Controls are set up for versatility, featuring an ambidextrous safety selector and an ambidextrous charging handle, with a standard magazine release. Flip-up polymer front and rear sights are installed for immediate use.
Ergonomics include an SB Tactical adjustable pistol stabilizing brace on a carbine-length receiver extension and a rubber finger-groove pistol grip. Construction is U.S.-made with metal receivers, and this example notes an early serial number within the GD15 line.
The package is rounded out with a 20-round Lancer L5AWM magazine and a SureFire Warden blast diffuser included (not installed in photos), offering a thoughtful set of components directly out of the box.
