    What’s Included
    • A. Uberti 1848 Dragoon Second Model .44 black powder percussion revolver (7.5" barrel)

This Second Model configuration includes rectangular cylinder-stop notches, an open-top frame, and a square-back brass trigger guard with a brass grip frame/backstrap. These details align with the defining features of the Second Model Dragoon pattern.

The six-shot, unfluted cylinder carries the factory Waterman L. Ormsby roll-engraved Ranger and Indian Fight scene, a hallmark detail of Dragoon revolvers. The revolver retains its under-barrel loading lever for seating percussion-ball charges.

Construction and finishes include a steel frame and receiver with a color case hardened finish, a blued barrel and cylinder, and a one-piece smooth wood grip. Sights are set up with a fixed brass blade front sight.

Markings include Italian Gardone/Brescia proof marks with the PN black-powder proof and a "Made in Italy" stamp. Major components have matching serial numbers, consistent with the revolver’s factory assembly.
