The El Patrón CMS configuration is tuned at the factory for smooth, consistent operation using Wolff springs. This single-action-only revolver pairs that competition-focused setup with widened EasyView fixed sights, combining a tall blade front and topstrap notch rear for clear sight alignment on the compact 3.5 inch CMS barrel.
Construction is all steel, with a color case-hardened frame and blued barrel and six-shot fluted cylinder. The wide, checkered hammer spur provides secure purchase, and the one-piece bordered-checkered walnut plow-handle grip offers a classic profile with positive control. The ejector-rod housing is fitted with a round bullseye-style ejector button with concentric rings for reliable case extraction.
Markings include the "EL PATRON CMS .357 MAG" barrel roll mark and a two-line Colt-style patent legend on the left frame. Italian proof marks and the boxed date code "CM" are present, along with Gardone proofs. The import mark reads Accokeek, MD (Uberti USA/Stoeger). The fluted cylinder is numbered to the gun with the last four digits visible, and the box label serial matches the revolver. Made in Italy.
This 2014 example presents as a clean, well-cared-for revolver with sharp rifling and a mirror-bright bore. Its CMS-specific 3.5 inch barrel, tuned action, and refined fixed sights make it a distinctive and practical take on the classic 1873 pattern.
