Baikal IZH-43 12 Gauge Side-by-Side, 28.5 in Barrels, Fixed Full/Modified, Double Triggers, KBI Import
Russian-made at the Izhevsk Mechanical Plant Baikal, this IZH-43 is a 12 gauge side-by-side with factory light scroll engraving and a practical field configuration. The barrels have been professionally shortened from the original 30 inches to 28.5 inches, and the gun retains its fixed Full/Modified choke markings as stamped. It was imported by K.B.I., Inc. of Harrisburg, PA and carries clear proof and import markings.

This IZH-43 uses a break-action boxlock with double triggers and internal hammers, set up in an extractor (non-ejector) configuration. Twin cocking/striker indicators on the action knuckles provide clear visual status. A lever-type forend latch secures the beavertail fore-end, and overall capacity is two rounds.
The 28.5-inch barrels ride under a solid, matted top rib and are topped with a brass front bead for clean sighting. Chambers are 2.75 inches (12×70), and the bores measure 18.2 mm with proof to 65 MPa, as marked. Choke stamps indicate Full (F 1.0) and Modified (M 0.5).
Proof and import marks include K.B.I., INC, HBG, PA; MADE IN RUSSIA; 12×70; 18,2; F(1,0); M(0,5); and 65 MPa. These markings align with its Russian manufacture and U.S. import history.
Furniture consists of a hardwood pistol-grip stock and a matching beavertail fore-end, finished with a hard plastic buttplate bearing the Baikal script logo. The receiver carries tasteful, light scroll engraving from the factory. Length of pull measures 14.2 inches.
