The 30S configuration pairs a slim-profile slide derived from the G36 with the G30SF short-frame grip, creating a subcompact .45 Auto that carries easier while retaining strong capacity. This model is a Gen 3 SF variant and was produced only in the Gen 3 configuration.
Chambered in .45 ACP, it features a 3.78 in barrel and a stated 13+1 capacity. It accepts compact and full-size Glock .45 Auto magazines, and this pistol includes one 13-round and one 10-round Glock factory magazine.
The operating system is striker-fired with a short-recoil, locked-breech action. Controls include a left-side magazine release and right-side ejection. Glock’s Safe Action system with a trigger safety tab provides the familiar Gen 3 manual-of-arms.
Construction details include a polymer frame with Gen 3 finger grooves and SF pebble texturing, plus a single-slot Glock accessory rail on the dustcover. The slide has rear-only serrations and a matte black finish that matches the frame.
Sighting equipment consists of fixed Glock polymer sights: a white dot front and a white U-notch rear. Markings include molded "MADE IN AUSTRIA GLOCK, INC., SMYRNA, GA" on the frame and an "AT" marking on the barrel hood, indicating Austrian manufacture.
