The commander-length 4.25-inch barrel uses a conventional bushing and recoil spring plug, and the barrel hood is marked "ED BROWN 45 ACP." Capacity is 7+1 in .45 ACP, and the single-action 1911 platform is configured with an ambidextrous thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety.
The stainless slide presents polished flats with matte/bead-blast rounds, vertical rear cocking serrations with no front serrations, longitudinal relief cuts on the upper slide flats, and a lowered/flared ejection port. The stainless frame wears a matte/bead-blast finish and features a high-cut undertrigger guard, along with checkering on both the front strap and mainspring housing.
Sights are dovetailed, with a Trijicon tritium front sight (orange outline, marked "H3 25") paired to a fixed black serrated rear sight secured by a set screw.
Fire-control components include a solid aluminum, mid-length, grooved trigger with overtravel adjustment and a skeletonized rowel/commander hammer. Smooth figured hardwood grip panels are secured with stainless hex-head screws.
