The primary .50 caliber barrel measures 26 inches and features a ported muzzle and under-barrel ramrod, while an additional 12-gauge Encore barrel assembly with an installed forend and top rail is included. A mounted variable-power riflescope, fiber-optic sight set (in a parts bag), and a hammer spur extension round out a feature-rich, ready-to-use configuration.

The Encore 209x50 Magnum configuration pairs a stainless steel frame/receiver with a synthetic stock in Advantage camouflage. The .50 caliber muzzleloader barrel is 26 inches long and fitted with a ported muzzle device. An under-barrel ramrod is retained by twin thimbles, and the stock is equipped with a rubber recoil pad and a sling swivel stud. Length of pull is 14.5 inches.
This break-action, single-shot muzzleloader uses an external hammer and a single-action trigger. Ignition is via 209 primer and a removable hex breech plug, which is installed. The barrel is marked "BLACK POWDER OR PYRODEX ONLY – DO NOT USE SMOKELESS POWDER."
A mounted variable-power riflescope in rings is included, and a hammer spur extension is installed for easier hammer access. Fiber-optic sight components are included in a parts bag, and a separate Picatinny/Weaver scope base is also provided.
