This Mossberg Model 500A is a full-size 12 gauge pump-action shotgun with a 24" smoothbore, cylinder-bore barrel and open sights. It is chambered for both 2 3/4" and 3" shells and features classic wood furniture with pressed checkering and a ventilated recoil pad. The aluminum alloy receiver is anodized and includes a longitudinal anti-glare serrated strip on top.

Bore Condition: Good - Clean, well-maintained, minor wear marks.
Specific Condition Notes: Safety selector needs parts replaced. The selector itself works, however, it no longer has a button or latch. The mechanism is very loose and constantly falls into the safety position. Rust and pitting are present across the metal surfaces. Scratches and blemishes are present across the firearm.

The 24" smoothbore, cylinder-bore barrel provides a straightforward, choke-free setup. Paired with a ramped front blade and an open rear sight on a base, it offers a clean sight picture for typical smoothbore applications.
This Model 500A is chambered for 2 3/4" and 3" shells and uses a standard-length magazine tube for a 4+1 capacity. The tube features a knurled end cap and a single barrel/magazine clamp for secure alignment.
The receiver is aluminum alloy with an anodized finish and a longitudinal anti-glare serrated strip on top. It ejects from the right side and retains the ambidextrous tang safety layout that defines the 500 series.
Wood furniture includes a stock with a pistol-grip wrist, pressed checkering, and a ventilated recoil pad, plus a matching wood forend. The shotgun wears a blued finish on its steel barrel to complete the classic presentation.
