- Arsenal SGL21 Legion Izhevsk 7.62x39 rifle
- 1x 30-round steel AK-pattern magazine
- Installed cleaning rod
Built in Russia at Izhevsk (Izhmash) and converted by Arsenal Las Vegas, this SGL21 retains the hallmark stamped-steel receiver with magazine-well dimples and a ribbed top cover. Factory markings include SAIGA, 7,62x39, LEGION IZHEVSK RUSSIA, ARSENAL LAS VEGAS NV USA, the Izhevsk triangle-with-arrow emblem, an oval proof, an 09 stamp, and an additional 157 assembly stamp.
Its pre-ban status is notable: this rifle was imported prior to the 2014 U.S. sanctions that halted Russian Kalashnikov imports. For buyers and collectors, that import window underscores both origin authenticity and limited availability.
The rifle is configured with custom-installed wood furniture: a wood buttstock, a wood lower handguard with palm swell, a wood upper handguard, and a wood pistol grip. The stock includes a rear sling swivel, and the length of pull is 13.0.
Barrel specs include a 16.3 in length, a 1:9.44 twist rate, and an AK-74-style front sight block paired with a muzzle brake/compensator. The action is a semi-automatic, long-stroke gas piston system with a rotating bolt, and the receiver is stamped steel.
Sighting equipment consists of a protected front post and an adjustable tangent rear sight marked to 1000 m. A left-side AK optics side rail is present, and the rifle retains its installed cleaning rod. Controls include a manual safety. Capacity is 30+1, and this example ships with one steel 30-round magazine.
