Mauser Parabellum American Eagle .30 Luger, 6-inch, 1970s Oberndorf Production, Interarms Import
This Mauser-Werke Oberndorf Parabellum "American Eagle" is a 1970s commercial reintroduction in .30 Luger, distinguished by its factory-applied Great Seal crest on the chamber and a long 6-inch barrel. It is an Interarms-imported, U.S.-market variant from the Original Mauser Parabellum series, featuring the script "Original Mauser" logo on the top toggle and "MAUSER PARABELLUM" marking on the right receiver. The polished blued finish, checkered wood grips, and complete feature set reflect a well-executed revival of the classic toggle-locked design.

Built at Mauser-Werke A.G. Oberndorf a.N. in the 1970s, this pistol represents the post-war commercial return of the Parabellum design. It is part of the Original Mauser Parabellum series and was imported for the U.S. market by Interarms, with corresponding "INTERARMS ALEXANDRIA, VIRGINIA" and "Made in Germany" markings.
The "American Eagle" variant is defined by the factory-engraved Great Seal of the United States on the chamber. Additional hallmark markings include the script "Original Mauser" logo on the top toggle and "MAUSER PARABELLUM" on the right receiver. The pistol wears a polished blued finish over a carbon steel frame and checkered wood grip panels.
Chambered in .30 Luger with a long 6-inch barrel, it feeds from 8-round P.08-pattern steel magazines (8+1 total capacity). Its operation is the classic semi-automatic, toggle-locked short-recoil system, aided by knurled toggle knobs for confident manipulation.
Controls and sights follow the Parabellum pattern, with a left-side safety lever and a push-button magazine release. The iron sighting system pairs a front blade on a ramped base with a rear notch integral to the rear toggle link.
