The P30L variant extends the slide and barrel to 4.45 inches, delivering a longer sight radius (approximately 6.42 inches) and a full-size feel. Factory 3-dot sights provide a clear, familiar sight picture. Chambered in .40 S&W, it uses 13-round magazines for a 13+1 capacity.
This is the V3 configuration with a DA/SA, hammer-fired action and an external spurred hammer. It features ambidextrous slide releases and HK's ambidextrous paddle-style magazine release for left- or right-hand operation. An accessory rail on the dust cover supports compatible lights or other rail-mounted accessories.
Built on a durable polymer frame, the P30L uses a modular grip with interchangeable side panels and backstrap to fine-tune fit. The cold-hammer-forged barrel employs a polygonal bore, and the pistol operates on a short-recoil, Browning-type tilting-barrel system. The slide wears HK's Hostile Environment (carbon-nitride) finish.
