The foundation of this build is the BAD556-LW billet receiver set in 7075-T6 aluminum. The upper is a slick-side design without a forward assist and includes a T-marked top Picatinny rail. The lower includes an integral trigger guard and a flared/beveled magwell for easier magazine changes. Receiver markings include "BAD556-LW" and "CAL: MULTI," with this example configured in .300 AAC Blackout.
The 10.5 in barrel is threaded and fitted with a multi-port muzzle brake/compensator. A free-float M-LOK handguard with lightening/vent slots along the top provides ample mounting space and maintains barrel clearance; the continuous Picatinny rail is present on the upper receiver only.
Controls are ambidextrous throughout, including the safety selector, magazine release, and an extended-latch charging handle. A LANTAC-marked bolt carrier group is installed. The mil-spec carbine (M4) receiver extension wears a pistol stabilizing brace, and the QD end plate offers a convenient sling attachment point.
This pistol is chambered in .300 AAC Blackout with a stated capacity of up to 20+1. One 20-round Magpul PMAG is included; its polymer body is marked '5.56x45.' The build also includes an accessory rail section and panel on the M-LOK handguard.
