The M7A1 Carbine pairs a 14.5-inch steel barrel with a 1:7 twist and a Troy-marked flash suppressor, delivering a carbine-length package built around a direct-impingement, semi-automatic action. It is chambered in 5.56mm NATO and accepts STANAG-pattern magazines, with a listed capacity of 30+1.
Troy’s PDW retractable stock uses a proprietary shortened system with rail-guided travel to minimize overall length while maintaining stability. The aluminum stock features twin side rails and a textured buttplate for a solid shoulder interface. In this 14.5-inch carbine configuration, typical overall length is about 30.5–33 inches.
The free-float Troy M-LOK BattleRail provides accessory mounting while keeping the barrel isolated from handguard pressures. A T-marked, full-length Picatinny top rail runs from receiver to handguard and includes an integrated QD sling cup for streamlined sling attachment.
