The XC configuration pairs a 5" island/comp barrel assembly and top port with a non-reciprocating fiber-optic front sight on the comp block, keeping the sight fixed to the barrel/comp unit. The rear is a plain black dovetailed notch, giving a crisp, uncluttered sight picture.
The slide is cut with front and rear cocking serrations and lightening windows, and is marked "STACCATO XC." The right-side dustcover/frame carries the "20★11" rollmark. The underside is marked "STACCATO / FLORENCE, TX USA," and the barrel hood is marked "9x19."
This full-size 2011 runs a Dawson Precision tool-less 5" recoil system and a steel frame with a full-length dustcover featuring a multi-slot MIL-STD-1913/Picatinny accessory rail. It is single-action only with ambidextrous thumb safeties and a skeletonized hammer.
Key upgrades include a Red Dirt trigger with a flat, textured shoe, an MJD grip module with aggressive texture and a flared magwell, and a pinned grip safety. These changes give the pistol a refined, competition-forward control setup.
