The TFS configuration equips this KDS9c with a 4.6 in factory threaded barrel cut 1/2x28 and capped by a thread protector. The single-action, recoil-operated, locked-breech system is tuned for 9mm Luger, pairing compact dimensions with double-stack capacity.
Its slide is optics-ready, featuring a cut with a removable cover plate retained by screws. A green fiber-optic front sight and a black serrated square-notch rear sit atop the slide. Front and rear cocking serrations, plus longitudinal top serrations, aid manipulation while complementing the black slide finish.
The frame is machined from 7075 aluminum alloy in a gray finish, with molded cross-hatch texturing across the grip panels, frontstrap, and backstrap for consistent purchase. A full-length Picatinny accessory rail provides mounting space along the dust cover.
Controls include an ambidextrous thumb safety and an external skeletonized hammer. The flat-faced, lightened single-action trigger is factory rated at 3.5–4.5 lb. Capacity is 17+1, and the pistol comes with one 17-round and one 15-round double-stack steel magazine featuring mixed basepad profiles (flush and extended). Final assembly is in Troy, Alabama, USA, with a two-tone presentation of a black slide over a gray frame.
