What’s Included
- 3 factory 25-round HK MP5 .22 LR magazines
Manufactured by Carl Walther in Germany and marked with licensed Heckler & Koch trademarks, this MP5 SD .22 LR captures the iconic MP5 profile in a semi-automatic, simple blowback rimfire format. Import marks from Umarex USA and German proof marks (including the Ulm antler, DE country code, and BC date code) are present.
The rifle uses a 16-inch barrel housed inside the SD-style barrel sleeve and ribbed handguard, delivering the distinctive SD look without a suppressor. Metal receivers are paired with a polymer trigger housing and grip. Overall length ranges from 26.8 to 33.8 inches depending on stock position, and weight is approximately 7.0 pounds.
Controls follow the HK pattern, with a left-side charging handle and a two-position selector with manual safety. Capacity is 25+1 with the included factory magazines. The top of the receiver is marked "Licensed Trademark of Heckler & Koch, Inc.", and the receiver is also marked "HK MP5" and "CAL. 22 LR HV" with "MADE BY CARL WALTHER GERMANY."
Sighting is via HK-style diopter irons, including a rotary rear diopter drum adjustable for windage and elevation. The stock is a two-rod, two-position retractable design with a checkered buttplate, and the handguard is the SD-style ribbed type with a faux suppressor sleeve.
An adjustable bolt-speed feature (internal screw, as documented in the operator's manual) is included to fine-tune cycling characteristics for different .22 LR loads.
