The scandium-alloy frame is built in a round-butt configuration for a smooth profile and includes front-strap and mainspring-housing checkering plus a beveled magazine well. Checkered wood-laminate grips with S&W medallions complete the grip setup.
The stainless slide carries E-Series fish-scale serrations front and rear, a flat, serrated anti-glare rib, an external extractor, and a lowered/flared ejection port for reliable operation and easy manipulation.
Its fire-control system uses Series-70-style lockwork with a titanium firing pin and no firing-pin block. A skeletonized Commander-style hammer and skeletonized 3-hole trigger support the single-action operation, while an ambidextrous thumb safety and beavertail grip safety provide secure handling.
Sighting is via dovetailed sights. The 4.25 in barrel features a recessed crown. Capacity is 7+1 rounds, and this pistol comes with two 7-round magazines. The factory case includes a matching serialized label, and an Uncle Mike's Sidekick holster and 1911 bushing wrench are included.
