Made in Germany and imported by HKI – Columbus, GA, this USP 9 carries the Ulm antler and eagle/N proof marks along with the two-letter 'BD' date code confirming 1994 manufacture. The marks are clear and consistent with early German production, and the components show matching serial numbers on the slide, barrel hood, and importer plate.
The V1 control layout provides both a manual safety and decocker, allowing cocked-and-locked single-action carry or a decocked double-action start. The DA/SA trigger system pairs with a spurred hammer, and the ambidextrous paddle-style magazine release offers intuitive operation for either hand.
Its 4.25-inch, cold-hammer-forged barrel uses polygonal rifling and is non-threaded. HK's recoil-reduction system with a captive spring and polymer buffer is designed to moderate slide impulse. The slide wears HK's Hostile Environment black finish, and the fixed 3-dot sights are dovetailed front and rear for durability.
This full-size USP uses a rugged polymer frame with textured grips molded with 'USP.' A proprietary USP accessory rail is integrated into the dust cover for compatible accessories. Capacity is 10+1, and this pistol includes two 10-round magazines to complete the package.
