The Mark II’s semi-automatic blowback action is operated via rear bolt ears and includes a last-round bolt hold-open. Its manual, sear-blocking safety allows the bolt to be manipulated while the safety is engaged, adding convenience during administrative handling.
Construction is robust with a steel frame and tubular steel receiver, both in a stainless finish. The design uses an open-top ejection port and is fitted with black checkered synthetic grip panels featuring Ruger medallions.
This full-size Target submodel carries the Southport, Conn. U.S.A. address rollmark and was manufactured in 1985. It is chambered in .22 LR with a 10+1 capacity and retains the classic Mark II profile and controls enthusiasts expect.
