The pistol presents with a clean, shiny bore and comes with its original case, manual, a 9-round magazine, and the original factory checkered grips bagged for inclusion.

Crafted by the Colt Custom Shop, this Government Model pairs the Series 80 firing system with a high-polish mirror-bright steel finish on both slide and frame. The left side of the slide carries the COLT CUSTOM rollmark, and the right side is marked COLT GOVERNMENT MODEL. The barrel hood is marked COLT SUPER .38 AUTO, confirming the chambering.
The pistol follows the traditional full-size 1911 format with a 5-inch Government-length slide and barrel. Sight configuration is straightforward and practical: a ramped front sight with a white dot and a fixed square-notch rear. Vertical rear slide serrations aid manipulation without altering the clean profile.
Controls reflect a GI-style setup, including a standard spur hammer and a non-beavertail grip safety. Safeties include a left-side manual thumb safety, grip safety, Series 80 firing-pin block, disconnector, and half-cock notch. A short, solid trigger and an arched, vertically serrated mainspring housing with a smooth front strap complete the classic handling characteristics.
Colt Pearl Hand Grips with Colt medallions are installed, providing a distinctive look in keeping with the bright finish. The original factory double-diamond checkered grip panels are included separately in the case for those who prefer the standard texture.
