The M&P9 M2.0 Compact shown here is the 3.6 in variant in 9mm Luger with no external manual thumb safety. It is striker-fired and includes a reversible magazine release and a hinged trigger safety. The frame is marked “CAUTION - CAPABLE OF FIRING WITH MAGAZINE REMOVED,” indicating no magazine disconnect.
Construction details include a stainless steel slide and barrel treated with a black Armornite (nitride) finish and an embedded steel chassis for rigidity. The black polymer frame uses the M2.0 aggressive texture and interchangeable backstraps to tailor grip size.
AmeriGlo iron sights are installed, combining a high-visibility front dot (yellow/green) with a square-notch rear. This setup provides a clear, consistent sight picture on a compact defensive platform.
A 3-slot Picatinny-style accessory rail is built into the dust cover for lights or other compatible accessories. Capacity is 17+1, and the package includes one 17-round magazine and two 10-round magazines, all factory Smith & Wesson steel magazines. Two Kydex holsters are included—one IWB with a FOMI clip and carbon-fiber pattern—along with Tyrant Designs +5 extension kits (blue). Made in the United States.
