It is a full-size, striker-fired 9mm with a hinged trigger, 17+1 capacity, and an ambidextrous slide stop with a reversible magazine release. This example has no external thumb safety, aligning with common duty-ready configurations of the period.
Construction emphasizes durability with a Melonite-treated stainless steel 4.25-inch barrel, a Black Melonite-finished slide, and a black polymer frame. The interchangeable backstrap grip system allows the shooter to fit the frame to their hand size.
Sight regulation comes via steel three-dot sights that are dovetailed into the slide, with a rear sight set screw for secure retention. Up front, the integral three-slot 1913/Picatinny rail supports mounting of compatible weapon lights or accessories as needed.
Practical safety features include a trigger safety, a loaded-chamber viewport, and a sear-deactivation lever that enables field-stripping without pulling the trigger. The right side of the slide is factory-marked "CAUTION - CAPABLE OF FIRING WITH MAGAZINE REMOVED."
