It stands out with a CORE-CP collapsible stock with an adjustable cheek riser, an M9L-G M-LOK white light and green laser module at 6 o'clock, and a GGG three-prong flash hider. The rifle retains the TREAD platform's free-floating M-LOK handguard with a slick top (no 12 o'clock Picatinny rail) and an ambidextrous safety.

The M400 TREAD foundation features a 16-inch stainless steel barrel with a 1:8 twist and threaded muzzle, paired with a mid-length gas system and a low-profile gas block. The free-floating aluminum M-LOK handguard provides solid accessory mounting and has a slick top with no 12 o'clock Picatinny sections; Picatinny rail space is on the receiver only (not continuous to the handguard).
This rifle is configured with a CORE-CP collapsible stock featuring an adjustable cheek riser and an 11-14 inch stated length of pull. A SIG polymer pistol grip complements the setup, and a front QD sling swivel with ring is installed on the handguard for quick attachment.
Illumination and aiming capability are enhanced by the installed M9L-G module, combining a white light with a green laser and mounted at the 6 o'clock M-LOK slot. At the muzzle, a GGG-marked three-prong flash hider is installed on the threaded barrel.
The aluminum receivers are hard-coat anodized and include a forward assist, ejection-port cover, and shell deflector. Markings include "SIG SAUER SIGM400" and "SIG SAUER INC, NEWINGTON NH, USA," and the handguard bears a stylized "E/flag" logo. The rifle uses the STANAG detachable magazine system with a stated capacity of 30+1. No sights are installed.
Controls include an ambidextrous safety, and the action is a semi-automatic, gas-operated, direct impingement system consistent with the AR-15 platform.
