The Sport II configuration delivers a proven AR-15 platform in 5.56 NATO with a semi-automatic, direct-impingement action and a carbine-length gas system. The aluminum receiver is anodized and includes a flat-top Picatinny upper rail, giving straightforward mounting real estate for compatible accessories. A forward assist, ejection-port dust cover, and brass deflector are all present.
The 16-inch 4140 steel barrel is nitrided for durability and corrosion resistance, with a 1:9 twist rate suited to a broad range of 5.56/.223 projectiles. It is fitted with an A2 flash hider and uses a pinned A2 front sight base, providing a rugged front sight reference.
Furniture is practical and user-focused: a Magpul MOE M-LOK carbine handguard is installed for accessory attachment, and a Magpul MIAD pistol grip is installed for customizable ergonomics. Sighting is handled by the A2 front sight base paired with a polymer flip-up rear sight.
