What’s Included
- Izhmash Saiga 5.45x39mm semi-automatic rifle (converted to AK-74/100-series configuration)
- One 30-round Bulgarian Arsenal "Circle 10" polymer AK-74 pattern magazine
Built by Izhmash in Russia, this Saiga uses a stamped AK-pattern receiver with magazine-well dimples and the standard paddle magazine catch. A bullet guide has been installed, allowing the rifle to feed from standard AK-74 pattern magazines. The action is the proven semi-automatic, long-stroke gas piston system with a rotating bolt.
The front end is configured to AK-74 spec, including an AK-74-type front sight block with collar and a two-chamber muzzle brake. It also incorporates a 90° gas block with an integral bayonet lug, a cleaning-rod retainer under the front sight block, and a cleaning rod installed beneath the barrel. Barrel length is 16.3 inches.
Furniture is AK-pattern throughout: a handguard retainer supports polymer ribbed lower and upper handguards, while the rear is fitted with a fixed polymer buttstock molded with "US" compliance marking. The stock features a ribbed steel trapdoor buttplate and a rear sling loop, and the pistol grip is polymer with checkering. Length of pull measures 13.0 inches.
Sighting equipment is classic AK: a post front sight and a tangent rear sight. Controls include the standard paddle-style magazine release and a manual safety/selector lever. Capacity is 30+1 with the included magazine.
Import markings read "MADE IN RUSSIA BY IZHMA..." on the receiver, underscoring its Russian origin. The included Bulgarian Arsenal Circle 10 polymer magazine is a correct AK-74 pattern complement to the rifle’s configuration.
