This first-generation M&P 40 Shield (SKU 180020) is the no-thumb-safety variant in .40 S&W with the classic 1.0 styling. It comes in very good condition with a bright, excellent bore, and includes three factory 7-round magazines. An installed Crimson Trace LG-489G green Laserguard, the original S&W box with matching label, and the factory manual round out a complete, ready-to-go package.

This Shield is the first-generation 1.0 configuration in .40 S&W with no external thumb safety, identified as SKU 180020. It pairs a 3.1 in stainless steel barrel with a matte-black treated stainless slide and a black polymer frame, delivering the compact, micro-size profile the Shield series is known for.
The striker-fired action uses S&W’s hinged trigger with a trigger safety. The slide wears scalloped rear serrations for positive manipulation and is roll-marked "Capable of firing with magazine removed," indicating there is no magazine disconnect. Sights are the factory 3-dot white setup with a white-dot front and 2-dot rear.
Dimensions are compact and carry-friendly: 6.1 in overall length and approximately 19.0 oz. The single-stack design supports standard capacities of 6+1 (flush) and 7+1 (extended); this example includes three factory 7-round magazines.
